Bio:

Julie Demange graduated from the University of Iowa in 1991, with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a minor in English. Afer taking a year off to work, Julie continued her education and received a law degree from Valparaiso University in 1995. During her years at law school, Julie had the pleasure of being able to take some law classes abroad in both France and Austria. Since Julie's graduation, the primary emphasis has been in the family law area including, divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, guardianship and adoption. Julie is also frequently appointed by the Courts to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem to advocate for the best interests of children and incapacitated adults in family law proceedings. Julie enjoys being able to work directly with her clients to help them through what is usually one of the most difficult times in their life. Julie encourages reasonable settlements to help keep expenses and stress to a minimum, but welcomes the opportunity to argue an issue in Court if compromise is not possible.

When not practicing law, Julie enjoys traveling to such far off corners of the world as India, Nepal and Cambodia. When at home, Julie keeps active playing tennis, making pottery and spending time with her pets.
